Great trainers constantly seek knowledge to learn and improve: They’re reading new fitness books, attending seminars, taking new courses, or traveling to meet respected coaches. At Acceler Fitness, our strategy includes engaging with trainer who crave knowledge relative to diet, resistance exercise and cardio workouts as well as behavioral change strategy and goal setting.
Behavioral Change Strategy:
Stages of behavior change include:
- Precontemplation
- Contemplation
- Preparation
- Action
- Maintenance
At Acceler Fitness, we help people advance through the stages with Behavioral Change Techniques (BCTs). A BCT is a strategy to help an individual change their behavior to promote better health. Examples include taking unhealthy foods out of the house, packing sports kits the evening before a workout, and setting goals.
Goal Setting Strategy:
At Acceler Fitness, we follow the S.M.A.R.T. model, which encourages trainees to set goals that are: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. In shots, it is key to set goals that can be reached to ensure progress along the the fitness journey.
Training Phase Strategy:
We breakdown training into three levels:
LEVEL 1: STABALIZATION
- Phase 1: Stabilization Endurance
LEVEL 2: STRENGTH
- Phase 2: Strength Endurance
- Phase 3: Muscular Development
- Phase 4: Maximal Strength
